This little book is aimed at newcomers to the field of fluoropolymer technology (synthesis chemists, process engineers, product designers, recent graduates). Polymer News, vol. 26, no. 11.
Since Plunkett's discovery of Teflon (PTFE) in 1938, many new types of fluorine-containing polymers have been developed, especially during last two decades.
