Since that time, he has amassed an outstanding library of reference material. While a student at the Boeing School of Aeronautics in 1940 he started an airplane photo negative collection that is now one of the largest in the world, containing nearly 50,000 individually filed negatives. From this vast collection, the photos in this book were drawn. This volume of Forgotten Fighters is the second in the series.
