This resource for making teddy bears reveals how to craft open-mouthed bears, sculpt teeth, create fur, make double-jointed necks and use trapunto and silk ribbon embroidered paw pads. There are patterns for a traditional teddy bear, a modern one and one for a realistic bruin. About the Author Inspired by her late father, an expert leather worker and shoe maker, Nancy Tillberg has been crafting unique teddy bears from fur coats and mohair since 1994. Her bears regularly appear in ads in Teddy Bear and Friends Magazine. Each year she conducts several workshops teaching the art of bear making to students in Canada and from as far away as Australia. Nancy creates hundreds of bears through her business Kran-Beary's. Krause Publications published her book Teddy Bears With a Past: Creating Treasured Teddies from Old Furs and Plush Fabrics in 2000. She currently resides in Ontario, Canada.
